He almost got sandwiched by Sweat and Chase. For fun I went on Cowboys message boards this morning. Comedy gold.

That game was Turdalicious! The Turds need to retire Dakk's number, he is an all-time Turd.

This is a good shot of Bradberry's hold. Suck it, Philly, you lost.
I mean, it is nothing compared to the non-call against Samuel at the end of the NJ Giants game, but when a jersey gets tugged so obviously, there is going to be a flag.

Credit to Bradberry for owning it, and now that's a free agent he probably won't be welcomed back in that town, despite having a stellar year. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the game.

Re: Around the NFL
I loved the second half. I was not too happy with the first half, lol. I think the Commodes definitely showed the Chief's that the way to beat Philly is to run on them. They averaged over 6 yards per carry.
Eagles fans can complain all they want about the refs, but they had a TD overturned and also won on Reid's challenge on the 35 yard catch.

Re: Around the NFL
Philly might have missed their shot with this loss. They just lost their OC to Indy and are about to back up the truck to pay Hurst. With a lot of key starters on their D set for FA (Hargraves, Cox, Bradberry, Quinn, Graham, White, Edwards and Gardner-Johnson) plus some key guys on offense who might retire or are FA's (Kelce, Scott, Sanders, Seumalo and Dillard), they are going to take some losses on both sides. They did well recently to hold on to some draft capital but if they miss on even a few, they will step back.

I think the NFL will re-evaluate that QB sneak/push the QB crap in the offseason,

Credit to them for using it, it's a smart way to pretty much get 2 yards whenever you need, but there is an angle of b.s. to it. I'd like to see them make a change to that, but the league loves offense so my suggestion is for our coaches to work it in when needed all while figuring out how to stop it, especially since you know you're seeing it at least twice a year.

Apparently people have broken necks in younger leagues from doing that, so really its move of a safety issue. From what I heard on NFL radio.

Re: Around the NFL
It definitely looks dangerous. Clipping is a PF for a reason, I don't understand why you would do it to your own QB. They also don't allow special teamers to vault off of a teammate to block a kick. This move seems similar to me.

Re: Around the NFL
I wonder if the Giants are considering making a bid for Lamar Jackson. If I were them, I would let Daniel Jones walk (Lamar or not), and use the money Jones wants to get Jackson. That would be a baller move.
I think Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson killed the market for Jackson. I am pretty sure that if the Commodes got him, we would get maybe 6 electric games with him and then he would have a debilitating leg injury. We'd probably go 2-4 I'm those games, too, lol.
Edit: Lol, was not aware the Giants signed Jones for 4/$160. That is insane. They totally should have signed an offer-sheet with Jackson imo.

Re: Around the NFL
The best thing to happen to the NFC East was this Jones contract. Daboll did a nice job this year, but NY also got unusually lucky and have fooled themselves into thinking they are better than they really are (high probability of them returning to the mean) and hitching their wagon to a tease like Jones will hamstring them for the next few years. He can have games where he'll wow you, but it's unsustainable and no QB ever has gotten this type of money based on very mediocre production. He's a $25m QB tops.
I kinda feel bad for Jackson and agree that the Watson and Wilson contracts really complicated things for him (the Ravens owner said as much about guaranteed deals). I enjoy watching him and think he's a legit talent but the commitment and potential for injury do give me pause. If he did sign with Washington, he'd make them a much more dangerous team and he'd have the benefit of playing with some legit WR's and a solid D, two things Baltimore has struggled with lately. He's carried almost the whole load for them, so I get his stance, but I can't help but be influenced by history and bias when I think about this team pushing all in for him. When he's behind C he's scary as hell, but it's him carrying $45-50m/yr when he's in the trainers room that makes me hesitate.

The contract the Giants gave Jones is laughable. I think everyone in that organization has fooled themselves - from the front office, to the coach, to the players.
Of course, until Washington can consistently beat the Giants they'll still be better than us, so what do I know?

Re: Around the NFL
ESPN is reporting that Dallas has reworked the contracts of Prescott and RG Martin to get under the salary cap and that these moves don't preclude possible extensions for either or both. I'm a little surprised Dak agreed to that, but maybe he did it with the promise of upcoming extension negotiations.

From what I heard on NFL radio, when players restructure the deals it just gives them more money up front in the form of like signing bonuses that can be spread out differently for cap purposes, but its not like they are taking pay cuts.

Re: Around the NFL
This is a crazy week in the NFL. Let's see, the Saints boat-race the turds. The vikings beat the 49'ers. The Raiders beat the Ravens. Arizona is pounding the Rams. And the Bungles are beating the Chiefs (that may not hold up).
I'm glad I picked the WFT this week in my survivor league. Lol.
