You make it sound like that’s a bad thing…. ;)

Especially for a rookie, he just got used to what we were doing I would hate to change everything and start over.

Especially with the ownership change looming and with that a high probability of a new coaching regime entering next offseason.

I would think Zampese has a good chance of getting the job, might even be the odds-on favorite currently?

You’re not an idiot. I thought the same thing until I reread it.

I think I like the logic of a guy like Zampese coming in; similar offense, more friendly for Howell, a qualified candidate, experienced in the event a new owner wants to make a change mid-season, etc.
I can't speak intelligently about some of the other guys they've talked to, but I can't help but wonder if most of them wouldn't be leery of signing up with the possibility looming that a new owner might look for a quicker coaching change considering all the factors and thus, this would very possibly be a one year audition.

I would be okay with Zampese even though I’m not a big fan of nepotism. Scott is the son of Norv and Ken is the son of Ernie.

Ken has done good work with some quarterbacks more recently Baker Mayfield when he was with the Browns. Baker and Sam are similar in stature. Ken also worked with Favre as well. Favre being only 6’2 and Sam being 6’1. That bodes well in my opinion for Ken.

The one slight I have with him is that he is 55 years old and will he bring imagination to the offense? I’m not looking for gadget plays but ability to bring fresh ideas and not just relying on the same ole, same ole. Either way I just hope they make a decision soon so whoever it is can get going. Free agency is just a short month and a half away.

Let’s go Ron!

Kiper's first mock had Washington taking OT Broderick Jones from UGA at 16. That'd be sweet IMO.

I would sign Kyle's son or daughter (if he has any kids) to a lifetime contract right now if I could, lol.

Not sure if true or not, but saw a blurb that dallas has called us inquiring about Carson Wentz??? If true, get a couple picks and be done with him. Most likely its a bunch of horsecrap though.

There is no way they want him. Unless they are looking for a blocking dummy.

LOL--I saw that too, but assumed it was coming from a sports edition of The Onion.

Jerruh signed Ryan Leaf once. Acquiring Wentz isn't too crazy a move for him.
