I'll start, with the low hanging fruit:

The Good - JD5 is legit. Terry is benefiting from having such a talented QB throwing him the ball and he so deserves it.

The Bad - No Brob this week and it showed. I don't know how much of a difference he would've made as the Ravens D is very stout against the run, but without him the running game was non-existent.

The Ugly - BSJ, the interior DLine, and Wylie. While our ends are not supposed to be pro bowlers they've been solid, but the interior d-line is a huge disappointment. And BSJ - ugh I've seen too much of his antics and I'm ready to see him go back to Canada.

Good: Sainristil with the first pick of the year. Terry with two great TD's.

Bad: One pick for the entire team through 6 games. How is that possible? Ertz falling down every time he catches the ball, even if he's 3 inches from the goal line.

Ugly: Losing a home game 37-9 to Detroilet.

We knew it would be a tough game, and I think it highlighted the difference between a legit contender and our guys who are ascending but have some clear areas of need. That being said, not a bad outing.

Good:
-they hung in there until the end and gave themselves a chance.
-Jayden continues to impress, and under tough circumstances in facing a solid D and without BRob to help he still made some impressive plays. The 4th down td to McLaurin was special.
-McLaruin finally has his guy.
-Sainristil got a nice pick and the D did get to Lamar some.
-Sibert keeps rolling

Bad:
-some dicey special teams, kicking in particular, instances
-everyone knew that the secondary had issues, was pretty evident again
-Baltimore is a tough offense to stop but 4-5 long, draining scoring drives is not good. Somehow they have to get a stop somewhere in there.
-Jayden came out ok, but he took some shots.
-thought Kingsbury mis-stepped in a few spots, nothing egregious but a little cutesy here and there

Ugly:
-some injuries mounting, and at spots like DT where they already have issues.
-Dallas getting steamrolled at home and Siriani melting down (ok, those are good things).

For the most part we did a decent job against the run. You knew Henry was going to get his and Lamar only had 44 yards rushing. Our defense couldn’t stop the big pass plays. Zay Flowers looked all pro and 4 other guys averaged around 15 yards per pass.

DQ said Forbes was a healthy scratch because they wanted an extra d lineman but our corners are our Achilles heel! Sanistril looks alright but St Juste and Noah just aren’t cutting it. That backup linebacker Mykal was awful in coverage against their Tight ends.

We obviously couldn’t fill every hole but we must draft or go after a top notch corner next year!

Henry didn't do much in the first half, but once Allen and Armstrong were out the rotations became shorter and the d-line was gassed . . . they didn't stand a chance after that.

Thats the MO of Henry. He wears down a defense and when Flowers had like a 100 yards in the first half, it just opened up holes for him in the second half. And then you still need to keep a spy on Lamar.

Bottom line we stayed competitive against probably the best team in the AFC. If there ever was a morale victory the Ravens game was one.

agree - this would have been a huge win but we were competitive against a good team

I do agree . . . however i also believe losing two of your d-lineman, one of them being your best run stuffer certainly didn't help. Less people to rotate means those there were gassed more than normally, which also hurts.

I'm worried that Newton won't be able to handle more playing time. Heck, I'm worried that Mathis won't be able to as well. If either of those guys goes down, then we are in trouble.

Newton was a second round pick and was considered a first round talent. We will see whether AP hit on him but no better way to see than having him play significant minutes.

We signed a couple DT onto the active roster. Remember Allen had all of 5.5 sacks last year not exactly gaudy numbers. We just need these guys to stop up the middle and not allow guys to gash us right through the middle of the defense.

Im not worried till we see how things play out.
