Oh so 2 other teams were fined which means that 29 teams were not fined. Can't believe how out of reality my incoherent rant was. I got tackled in a touch football game once. Where was the NFLPA then? Its all part of the theme of this thread. Glad to see that DS settled one claim for $1.6 mil. of course denying it ever happened at the same time. Also glad that the VA legislature tabled the Northern VA stadium idea. Please keep the "Commanders in DC where they belong. The 2022 off season what now continues. Wentz to McLaurin and pray for rain. The ranting continues.

Multiple teams have been fined for this throughput the years. We get it. You hate the team. Please move along.

I don't know, I still wonder how they were reported. Like, did Jack del Rio do it to get back at Rivera? I doubt it, but with this franchise you never know. It seems weird to me that both coaches were fined $100K in the same week.

Well considering the hit on Brown was reported in every major news outlet as was Ron’s going off on the team about it, it’s pretty easy to surmise that the NFL figured it out from that. Oh and the NFL tapes and has observers at every camp. The simple explaination is just that….

You said only Washington was fined, evidence of other teams being fined was provided. Not sure why that's causing such agitation.

Yeah and there are flocks of reporters, league provided refs at times, league officials make visits, etc. They went too far, and got dinged...what is the big deal?

So the old "Hate" response. I do detest what has become of this once respected, both on and off the field, franchise and I am part of a pretty large contingent. The Commanders have become a joke not just in the NFL but in all of pro sports and that is echoed across most, if not all, of the sports media. The players have no choice but to compete on the field for their own personal futures in the sport but playing for this organization puts them at a disadvantage from the opening kick off.

I created a new thread for your sub conversation. Doesn’t really fit this thread.

Re: 2022 offseason...what now?
Now that McL is locked up, keep an eye on a signing at both LB and CB. Otherwise i kind of like where we are sitting from a team perspective. I liked this years draft, and i think that with some improvement from a couple of guys that last year's draft can turn into a solid one.

What will they do with Payne is the next question...

I think they want him back, but money will be a big factor. I think Holcomb might be up first honestly.

Yeah, I like Payne and hope they don't lose him. It may be hard to sign him with Sweat and Young on the team.

Heinicke led a clutch 4th quarter 10 1/2 minute drive against the defending champion Bucs and plays several other great games...and I have to read this know-nothing Heinicike-hating drivel.
This team would be 3 - 13 at best without Heinicke, with this horrible sieve-like defense.
You Heinicke-haters wouldn't know a special QB if Joe Montana hit you upside the head with a football.
Well, we are in the height of summer now. What did you and Taylor have for dinner tonight? Try the fresh tomatoes and Mozzarella with some oil and balsamic vinegar. Just a thought.

Agree, I just don't know how they can commit that much to the d-line with Sweat and Young coming up, but maybe they can find a way. It's mostly funny money anyway and it's hard not to think that they drafted Mathis with this situation in mind.

Over, Over, Under based on previous numbers I've seen for him and the skill sets we have on offense.

Re: 2022 offseason...what now?
I will go over on all three, assuming he doesn't have a career ending injury on the first drive of the season.
I think the 1-2 combo of McLaurin and Dotson could be freaking amazing. And all the 6'10" tight ends on the team could really add to the fun.

You won't be laughing after you see how badly Wentz and Washington sucks this season.
You'll be crying...just like you're crying watching the Jan 6 hearings for your hero traitor Trump.

So the Commanders have $17.9M in cap space. Should be plenty to sign a vet MLB.

I hope we dont overpay for one, but either Schobert or Johnson would work for me.

Re: 2022 offseason...what now?
Speaking of free agents, here is a Top-10 under 30yrs old list :
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/100 ... s-under-30
I would be good with Alexander, Goldman, Flowers , Alexander, King. Always liked Ebron despite his hands, but at least he is out there if injuries hit.

^^Wouldn't be mad to see them take a look at Alexander, worst case he's a solid rotational LB, but could really make an impact if he's back to his old self.
