After watching opening day, I gotta say this league seems ok. Is it the time of the year, cameras on the sideline, or the points after TD thing? I enjoyed the game. Winning at home 31-19 is a good feeling, if you have been a Skins fan it doesn't happen often.
Nice that the officials don't ruin the game the way the NFL has done.
What do you all think? Will this be just another failure of a league, or They might have a chance this time?

Re: XFL D.C. Defenders
I enjoyed watching the couple of games I could. I think it gets through Year 1 ok, but cant remember how long the season is. No clue how long it will last but I hope the NFL can use the league as a farm system. I put up an XFL thread before I saw this thread.

I was a season ticket holder for the Orlando Apollos in the AAF league and I enjoyed those games but in the end it is a big nut to carry just 8 teams. That just failed, how many leagues are we gonna watch try to survive. It is a nice novelty and I guess you have to start somewhere, but it is hard to get emotionally involved and with out that, they have nothing. You can't survive on casual watching. IMO

Agree. They need a couple of "name" players honestly. Weirdest thing about week 1, was that the LA Wildcats already fired their DC Pepper Johnson. Funniest thing was the presser on that. HC Winston Moss called the decision to fire Johnson "difficult". "We recognize that there are issues we need to address for the 2020 season. While these decisions are difficult, we have given this significant though. " It was less than 24hrs after the game played, honestly how much "significant thought" did they do? I just found that weird.
